Why is it that with the core business of education being learning , when it comes to coaching, which many senior leaders have on their job descriptions, I find little evidence of any substantial learning taking place on this subject?
My findings demonstrate that many leaders seem unable to clearly articulate what coaching is, who the ‘gurus’ are in the field of coaching or what research is showing about the benefits of this leadership style.
As a member of WBECS (The World Business and Executive Coaching Summit) and I.O.C. (Institute of Coaching: Harvard. USA) this page will share with you how to acquire ‘snippets of learning,’ in the form of small presentations of key points and often signpost you to further reading, should the subject interest you.
I would welcome any comments on those presentations you look at and reflect on and what learning you have taken from any of these.
